2021-2027 OP TAC

The Operational Program Technologies and Application for Competitiveness (OP TAC) is going to bring more than CZK 80 billion into the development of Czech enterprises in the programming period 2021–2027. For example for salaries of developers and constructors, production machinery and technologies, or energy savings and efficient water management. First calls are likely to be launched in February 2022. For November, the Ministry of Trade and Industry is preparing the so called call notices where potential applicants will learn about the conditions and deadlines related to the calls. The most significant change lies in putting a limit on subsidies for major enterprises. These will be allowed to draw subsidies without a limit only in the areas of energy, high-speed internet, or development co-operation with small and medium-sized enterprises. The government should approve the OP TAC around the end of September. Consequently, there will not be anything hindering the introduction of informative notices for enterpreneurs, and in the beginning of the year, following an approval by the European Commission, the subsidy schemes will be launched eventually.
